For over 25 years, St. John Lutheran Church has been pouring into the children of the Hamilton community through Christ-centered education. What began as a small preschool has grown into a full Academy serving kids from age 2 through 3rd grade—with plans to keep growing year by year!
At St. John, we believe childhood is sacred and learning should be full of joy, purpose, and wonder. Our classrooms feel a little different—more like a warm, Christ-filled home than a traditional school. We’re not trying to be a replacement or alternative to public school—we’re something entirely different. Think of it more like the best parts of a homeschool environment blended with the structure, community, and creativity of a classroom setting.
When you visit, you’ll notice that our teachers don’t just “cover curriculum”—they truly know and love each child. We focus on strong academics, but we’re just as passionate about helping our students grow in character, confidence, and faith. We teach Bible truths and model grace, helping kids learn to follow Jesus and love others well.
You’ll also see that we’re big on community. Families are a vital part of our school life, and we work hard to make sure everyone feels connected and cared for. Whether it’s a parent-led event, chapel time, or a morning coffee chat, our school feels like one big extended family.
