This series of worship services for the Advent and Christmas seasons celebrates the events “in those days,” the time when our Savior was born.  The services are centered around the familiar Christmas account reading found in Luke 2.  As we light the candles on the Advent wreath, we remember an emperor’s decree, a journey to Bethlehem, the search for a place to stay, the birth of a firstborn son, news for shepherds, the angel’s greeting, a sign from God, the shepherds go and see, the shepherds spread the news and Mary treasuring up all these things.
