St. John Lutheran Church in Hamilton, Texas is a member congregation of The Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod. We gladly and joyfully believe, teach, and confess the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior of the World and we are unapologetically Lutheran. Of course, that doesn't mean that only Lutherans are welcome. We welcome the whole community and love to share Jesus with everyone. As we gather together, we are committed to the pure preaching of the Word of God in the Bible and the right administration of the Sacraments (Holy Baptism and the Lord's Supper). When you come to St. John be sure to talk with Pastor Kalbas about our church and ministry. We do politely ask that all guests who have not been confirmed in the Lutheran Church (LCMS) refrain from taking the Lord's Supper until visiting with Pastor and learning more about this precious gift. Feel free to call or email ahead of time if that's easier. Otherwise, we hope you enjoy your visit and please let us know if there is anything we can do to be a blessing to you.
